Male Residence Halls

 

Paine College has three residence halls for male students. All male residence halls are listed below.


Ervin Hall

Ervin Hall rooms have (2) person per unit with a bathroom on each floor. Ervin Hall maintains a healthy living and learning environment that respects and appreciate the uniqueness of each individual while encouraging personal growth. Supporting the academic experience, by providing social, life skills, and healthy living –wellness program for our residents.

Ervin Hall was built in 1967 and named for W. C. Ervin, business manager for Paine College for 35 years. This hall is 8,000 square feet. It was last renovated in 2008.

Gray Hall

Gray Hall rooms have (2) person per unit with a bathroom on each floor. Ervin Hall maintains a healthy living and learning environment that respects and appreciate the uniqueness of each individual while encouraging personal growth. Supporting the academic experience, by providing social, life skills, and healthy living –wellness program for our residents.

Gray Hall was built in 1962 and named for Emma C.W. Gray, a devoted servant of the church who served Paine College for more than 30 years.  It was recently renovated in 2019.

Hollis Hall

Hollis Hall rooms have (2) persons per unit with a bathroom on each floor. Hollis Hall maintains a healthy living and learning environment that respects and appreciates the uniqueness of each individual while encouraging personal growth. The Residence Hall director and staff support the academic experience, by providing social, life skills, and healthy living –wellness program for our residents. Hollis Hall was built in 1967 and named for Mrs. Rossie Thompson Hollis, an alumna who served on the Board of Trustees.
