If you are concerned about your safety or the safety of someone else, please contact Campus Police at 706-821-8235 and your Residence Hall Director for on campus emergencies. For off campus emergencies, dial 911 or obtain safe transportation to the nearest hospital emergency room.

The Counseling Center is open for crisis situations from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or as deemed necessary by the College. We can be reached at 706-821-8388 or come by Peters Campus Center, 2nd Floor, Suite 215. If you need help during the Counseling Center's off hours, the following is a list of 24 hour crisis hotlines:

Mental Health Crisis Line

1-800-715-4225 - Provides Georgia residents with referral information for assistance with mental health and substance abuse problems

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

1-800-273-TALK (8255) - A national 24-hour toll-free prevention and intervention resource that provides immediate assistance to individuals in suicidal crisis by connecting them to the nearest available suicide prevention and mental health provider.

United Way of the CSRA

211 OR 706-826-1495, If out of local calling area, dial 1-877-292-5211 -Provides information and referrals for: child or senior care, emergency food or shelter, mental/physical health, and other basic needs

Rape Crisis & Sexual Assault Services
