GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Department of Mathematics, Sciences, and Technology (MST) in the School of Arts and Sciences at Paine College located in Augusta, Georgia invites applications for the position of academic instructor of the Mathematics, Science, and Engineering Improvement Program (MSEIP).

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Mathematics Science Engineering Improvement Program (MSEIP) is a dynamic 4-week summer program. Classes are offered to pre-college students that plan to major in STEM. The instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality, interactive education programs. Instructors are assigned one subject area based on their credentials. The areas are mathematics, chemistry, biology, and science applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the delivery of educational summer camp programs to groups of pre- college students.
Develop hands-on science and mathematics lessons for camp programs.
Organize curriculum and class plans on a daily basis.
Responsible for daily administrative and operational tasks.
Organize and prepare materials for use in camp programs.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry Biology or a related field is preferred.
RANK AND SALARY
Commensurate with experience.
EFFECTIVE DATE OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment to begin June 8, 2023.
