Dear Members of the Paine College Family and Friends,

As the Christmas season arrives and the year draws to a close, I extend heartfelt greetings to you on behalf of Paine College. This sacred season offers a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and give thanks—for God's grace, for one another, and for the enduring mission of this historic institution.

Throughout the year, Paine College has continued its journey of renewal, resilience, and recommitment to academic excellence, faith formation, and service to humanity. Our students have shown perseverance and promise. Our faculty and staff have demonstrated unwavering dedication. Our alumni, trustees, church partners, and supporters have remained steadfast in their belief in Paine College. So many people responded to our calls for moral and financial support. For each of these gifts, I am deeply grateful.

The Christmas story reminds us that hope is born even in uncertain times. It affirms that light endures, faith sustains, and purpose prevails. These truths continue to guide Paine College as we educate servant-leaders prepared to think critically, lead courageously, and serve compassionately.

Christmas reminds us that light shines brightest in moments that call for courage, perseverance, and belief. The birth of Christ affirms hope made visible—hope that inspires us to keep building, keep serving, and keep believing in what is possible. That same hope animates Paine College's mission to educate servant-leaders who will transform communities and the world.
