Welcome to Paine College and the beginning of your college career on our historic campus. For most incoming students, this is a time of great change, challenge, and excitement. You will be assuming responsibility for decisions and actions that directly impact your personal and academic life. This is a time of transition during which we are dedicated to providing residents a relaxed, educational, diverse, and caring community. We aim to help you reach academic success, personal growth, and social responsibility. Living in the residence halls will help to provide you with a well-rounded college experience.

Living in the residence halls will provide an opportunity for you to become an active member of the Paine College community.

The Paine College residence halls is an exclusive experience, in which students are encouraged to be involved in activities and programs, and to assume individual and community responsibility.

A variety of student leadership opportunities are available, including volunteer positions on committees and paid positions working with residential staff. Paine College strongly encourages students to be active, involved citizens in their residential communities.

Professional and student staff members offer academic support, personal advisement, conflict resolution and programming. They also assist residents in adjusting into a safe environment, which will soon become home.
