Berry Gomillion Hall

Berry Gomillion Hall accommodates 98 junior and senior women. The rooms have (2) persons per unit with a private bathroom in each room. Berry Gomillion Hall maintains a healthy living and learning environment that respects and appreciates the uniqueness of each individual while encouraging personal growth. The Residence hall director and staff support the academic experience, by providing social, life skills, and healthy living –wellness program for our residents.

Berry-Gomillion Hall was built in 1987 and named for Dr. Evelyn Berry and Dr. Charles G. Gomillion benefactors and members of the Paine College Board of Trustees. This hall is 26, 867 square feet and accommodates 98 upper class women. It was last renovated in 2008.

Epworth Hall

Epworth Hall accommodates 112 freshmen females. The rooms have (2) persons per unit, and (3) persons per unit with a bathroom on each floor. Epworth Hall maintains a healthy living and learning environment that respects and appreciates the uniqueness of each individual while encouraging personal growth. The Residence hall director and staff support the academic experience, by providing social, life skills, and healthy living –wellness program for our residents.

Epworth Hall was built in 1925 and named for the Epworth Leaguers of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South who gifted funds for construction. This hall is 17,000 square feet and accommodates freshmen 112 women. It was last renovated in 2008.

Graham Hall

Graham Hall accommodates 110 females. The rooms have (2) persons per unit with a bathroom on each floor. Graham Hall maintains a healthy living and learning environment that respects and appreciates the uniqueness of each individual while encouraging personal growth. The Residence hall director and staff support the academic experience, by providing social, life skills, and healthy living –wellness program for our residents.

Graham Hall was built in 1971 and named for William L. Graham, ’29. This hall is 22,000 square feet and accommodates 110 women.

Sankofa Hall

Sankofa Hall accommodates 42 sophomore and junior females. The rooms have (1) person per unit and (2) persons per unit with a bathroom on each hall. Sankofa House maintains a healthy living and learning environment that respects and appreciates the uniqueness of each individual while encouraging personal growth. The Residence hall director and staff support the academic experience, by providing social, life skills, and healthy living –wellness program for our residents.

Sankofa Hall was constructed in 2006 and named after the Adinkira symbol that means “turn back and fetch it” or the importance from the past. This hall accommodates 42 women.
