Belle-Bennett Hall

Belle-Bennett Hall rooms have (2) persons per unit with a bathroom on each floor. Belle-Bennett Hall maintains a healthy living and learning environment that respects and appreciates the uniqueness of each individual while encouraging personal growth. The Residence hall director and staff support the academic experience, by providing social, life skills, and healthy living –wellness program for our residents.

Belle Bennett Hall was built in 1962 and named for Ms. Belle Bennett who for many years president of the Woman’s Missionary Council of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. This hall is 12,000 square feet and accommodates 48 men. It was last renovated in 2008.

Epworth Hall (Freshmen Only)

Epworth Hall accommodates 112 freshmen females. The rooms have (2) persons per unit, and (3) persons per unit with a bathroom on each floor. Epworth Hall maintains a healthy living and learning environment that respects and appreciates the uniqueness of each individual while encouraging personal growth. The Residence hall director and staff support the academic experience, by providing social, life skills, and healthy living –wellness program for our residents.

Epworth Hall was built in 1925 and named for the Epworth Leaguers of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South who gifted funds for construction. This hall is 17,000 square feet and accommodates freshmen 112 women. It was last renovated in 2008.

Ervin Hall

Ervin Hall rooms have (2) person per unit with a bathroom on each floor. Supporting the academic experience, by providing social, life skills, and healthy living –wellness program for our residents.

Ervin Hall was built in 1967 and named for W. C. Ervin, business manager for Paine College for 35 years. This hall is 8,000 square feet and accommodates 48 men. It was last renovated in 2008.
