The Paine College Community is furthering its efforts with the “Drive for Haiti” beginning Friday, January 22, 2010.

The purpose of Drive for Haiti is to provide relief to those affected by the earthquake in Haiti. Paine College students would like to assemble 500 or more hygiene kits for the Haitian relief drive. The deadline for your donations will be Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Hygiene kits will be boxed and sent to the United Methodist Church Global Ministries for distribution to Haiti.

Donations should be dropped off at Candler Memorial Library Building – Room 103B

Donations should be new and unused products.
  • Sanitary Napkins/tampons & Q-tips
  • Hand towels & Body Soap
  • Combs & Deodorant
  • Toothbrushes & toothpaste
  • Sterilized Gauze for wounds
  • 2-Gallon Zip Lock Bags (All the items listed above will fit into Zip Loc bags)
