Where do I pick up my cap and gown? 

Registrars Office located in the Haygood-Holsey Hall.
 

Where do I pick up my kente stole? 

Division of Education located in Candler Memorial Library Building; Room 101-G with Ms. Andrea Anderson.
 

When and where is Baccalaureate Convocation? 

April 30, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the Gilbert- Lambuth Memorial Chapel. Seniors must report to the venue by 1:45 p.m.
 

When and where is Commencement Rehearsal? 

April 28, 2011 at 1:30p.m. - 3:00p.m. at the William Bell Auditorium, 712 Telfair Street.
 

When and where is Commencement Convocation? 

May 1, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the William Bell Auditorium, 712 Telfair Street.
 

Where can I get photographs of me receiving my degree? 

Photos can be obtained from TPI Photography at (706) 627-2300 or studio6581@gmail.com.
 

Where can I get photograph of my class portrait?

Where can I obtain my cap & gown photographs?

When will I receive my diploma? 

All students will receive a diploma from the President when crossing the platform. Diplomas for students unable to attend the ceremony will be mailed from the Registrar’s Office after Commencement.

Where can I obtain video of Baccalaureate and Commencement Convocation?

May 1, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the William Bell Auditorium, 712 Telfair Street, Augusta, GA 30901
 

Are tickets required for Commencement Convocation? 

No. Tickets are not required for Commencement Convocation, but early arrival is encouraged to obtain desired seating.
 

Are tickets required for Baccalaureate Convocation? 

No. Tickets are not required for Commencement Convocation, but early arrival is encouraged to obtain desired seating.
 

What should I wear to Commencement and Baccalaureate? 

Business attire is appropriate for all Commencement weekend activities. Jeans, active wear, and tennis shoes are discouraged.
 

How much travel time should I plan for the morning of Commencement? 

We suggest that you plan to leave for the stadium at least 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the Commencement ceremony. Traffic is heavy on the morning of Commencement, so you'll need this extra time for travel, arrival and parking on campus, and finding a seat at the auditorium.
 

Is special seating available for guests who are physically challenged? 

Yes. If you are a graduating senior, you can indicate a need for disability access when you request tickets. Please see Ticket Request. Students, family members, or community guests who have concerns about seating for the disabled may contact Dr. Roscoe Williams at (706) 821-8339.
 

Is parking available for disabled guests? 

Yes. Please see the Public Safety Officer for information on handicap-designated parking areas. The Public Safety Officer will also indicate drop-off points for your convenience.
 

Where can I buy flowers or balloons for my graduate? 

A number of florists and grocery stores are available in the area for such purchases.
