Paine College will host the Annual Baptist Day Service, Sunday, February 25th at 3:00 pm, in the Gilbert-Lambuth Memorial Chapel. This event is sponsored by the Baptist Ministers' Conference of Augusta, Georgia. Reverend Anthony Booker, Pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Harlem, Georgia, will give the address. The New Hope Baptist Church Choir will render musical selections. This event is open to the public and all denominations are invited to attend and fellowship.

Historically, Baptist Church Ministers and Parishioners have assembled at Paine College to fellowship and rally support for the Institution. Of particular note, Paine is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.  Reverend Melvin Ivey, known for coining the statement "Don't just talk about it, be about it", led the delegation of Clergy that presented $15,000 to Paine college in 2014 to establish a scholarship at the College. "We cannot rest upon our achievements, but continue to support the Institution that has given monumentally to the community and the state of Georgia," said Reverend Ivey.
