“Don’t just talk about, be about it.”

Annually, Baptist Church ministers and members assemble on the Paine College campus to fellowship and rally for the institution that they have supported for many decades. This coming Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 4:00 p.m., Reverend Karlton Howard, pastor of Noah’s Ark Missionary Baptist Church, will serve as keynote speaker during the Baptist Day Service in the Gilbert-Lambuth Memorial Chapel. Reverend Howard continues to serve as executive producer and host of the award-winning and longest running gospel program in Georgia – “The Parade of Quartets” that airs in Augusta on WJBF TV. The CSRA community is invited to attend.

“Don’t just talk about it, be about it,” has been the underlying theme throughout the annual worship services,” commented Reverend Melvin Ivey. On June 18, 2014, Reverend Ivey and seven Baptist ministers presented a $15,000 check to the College to establish an endowed scholarship. They continued to make significant annual donations in support of the College’s Annual Fund Campaign.

This event is open to the public. For more information, please contact Ms. Helene Carter in the Office of Institutional Advancement at 706.821.8323,Hcarter@paine.edu
