Augusta, GA- The Paine College Lady Lions volleyball team will be hosting a Zumba® workout, with Paine College Alumna and former volleyball team member Joey Hayes Cummings ‘96 (pictured), Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 7:00 PM in Carter Gymnasium.
This event is part of Paine’s student athlete’s way of giving back to the community, and having fun while doing so. Admission to the Zumba® party is a can good or non-perishable items to be donated to the Golden Harvest food bank.
Coach Kohn, Head Volleyball Coah states, “We could never repay the community for the support that they give to Paine College. By collecting can goods and non-perishable items to be donated is our way of giving back to the community, and the only thing it is costing us is having a good time doing so!"
Zumba® is a fusion of Latin and international music that creates a dynamic aura that combines salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton, and samba.
