The Undergraduate to Graduate Program at Paine College is a structured program of guidance and assistance related to completing all preparations associated with enrolling in graduate and/or professional school such as:
  • Gaining awareness of the steps necessary to maximize the opportunity for admission to choice graduate and/or professional schools (i.e. applying for scholarship and internship opportunities throughout the undergraduate career)
  • Receiving support in preparing for standardized assessments (i.e. Graduate Record Exam (GRE), Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT), Law School Admission Test (LSAT), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), Dental Admission Test (DAT), and Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT)).
  • Receiving support with document preparation (i.e. resumes, personal statements, narratives, portfolios, applications)

The mission of the Undergraduate to Graduate Program also includes providing opportunities for engaging learning experiences that develop those skills necessary for study beyond the baccalaureate degree such as:
  • Internships
  • Study Abroad
  • Undergraduate Research These activities promote the idea of graduate school attendance as a goal beginning with Freshman Orientation and include efforts on the parts of students, faculty, and staff members throughout the students’ tenure.
