Paine College offers the Pre-Nursing Program that leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). This program offers students a way to begin at Paine College and continue their studies at the International University of Nursing (IUON), St. Kitts as part of a unique, flexible, and collaborative education experience. Students begin their coursework at Paine College, continue their coursework at IUON and complete the requirements for the BSN degree at an accredited United States or Canadian partnership school.

Students must complete 41 pre-requisite credit hours at Paine College with at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA). Students continue their studies at IUON for three or four semesters depending on the requirements of the partner school, and complete the BSN degree at an accredited United States or Canadian IUON partner school. Students who have successfully completed the BSN program and have graduated from an accredited United States or Canadian partner school are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) examination. Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN examination are required for practice as a licensed Registered Nurse.
