Welcome to Paine College’s School of Professional Studies where the faculty and staff provide engaged learning experiences for the next generation of professionals in the areas of Business, Education, and Media Studies.

Given today’s increasingly complex world, our faculty work exceedingly hard to meet the needs of students. Our specialized degree programs build on a liberal arts foundation provided in the common core to provide students with a balance of academics and real world experiences. This enables students to gain practical, real world experience in chosen fields.

Throughout the School of Professional Studies, students will find programs that are engaging, practical, and make an impact in the community and in our ever-changing world. We have graduates that are currently making a difference in classrooms and the world of business.

The School of Professional Studies is committed to preparing students to become leaders in their professions by building on a strong liberal arts program central to the Paine College experience. It houses the Departments of Business Administration, Education and Mass Communications. Students can earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration or Education, or a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications. Further, students can major in 1) Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting, Marketing, Management, Management Information Systems or International Business, 2) Education with majors in Early Childhood and Middle Grades Education, or 3) Mass Communications with concentrations in Drama, Broadcasting, Journalism or Public Relations.
