Paine College Online Program provides academic instructions through:
The purpose is to:
- Embody the Mission of the College as a premiere liberal art institution of higher learner;
- Extend the boundaries of Paine’s academic programs and resources;
- Provide quality educational endeavors for individuals seeking a Bachelor’s degree and/or professional development for advancement; and
- Ensure that all students from anywhere in the world can achieve their educational endeavors through an innovative online program designed to bridge the gap of traditional classroom, active learning, and the growing world of online instruction.
To ensure achievement in learning the student will have to fulfill all requirements specified in the syllabus and adhere to deadlines stipulated by, the instructor.
Fort Gordon Resident Center Program
The Paine College Fort Gordon Resident Center offers a quality education for individuals seeking a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree. The program is available to active-duty military personnel and their dependents, retirees, Department of Army Civilians, and others with special circumstances.
The high quality of excellence is maintained in the Fort Gordon Program as on the main campus. The academic calendar varies from that of the main campus to better serve Fort Gordon personnel and the working professional seeking educational endeavors.
The Online Program
The Online Program allows students to enroll in courses that are taught online via the Internet. Students taking online courses are required to have a personal computer, laptop, or iPad.
Degree seeking students can take available online courses exclusively or in combination with face-to-face classes as long as they are enrolled at Paine College and their total course load stays within the maximum of 18 credit hours for the duration of a semester. Additional restrictions may apply to make sure load stays within the maximum of 18 credit hours.
Students taking exclusively online load will not be charged any additional fees for that semester. Tuition must be paid no later than the first day of online instruction.
