The Division of Business Administration offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in business administration (BSA) with a core in business administration and majors in accounting, international business, management, management information systems, or marketing.

In addition, the Division offers a combination of courses in accounting and management information systems that a student can take after receiving the BS degree with a major in accounting. These courses prepare students to take the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Exam given by the Georgia State Board of Accountancy.

The Division of Business Administration is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).


Goals

The goals of the Division of Business Administration are to:

  1. provide quality instruction in the field of business administration with majors in accounting, international business, management, management information systems, and marketing
  2. provide an opportunity for students to concentrate in an area of business administration with a sound liberal arts background
  3. prepare students for leadership positions in government, entrepreneurship, industry, and the community
  4. ensure that students are aware of opportunities for professional certification in business administration major programs
  5. further students’ interest in and prepare them for graduate study
  6. offer theoretical knowledge and practical experience through a program of cooperative education and internships
  7. provide education and practical training in the use of computer technology in Business Administration.
