The Paine College Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) provides quality educational opportunities to the Greater Augusta Community, country, and the world.

Purpose

The central purpose of the Center for Advanced Professional Studies at Paine College is to extend the College’s learning community beyond the core partnership of faculty and traditional degree students, furthering the educational mission of Paine College in a welcoming and non-competitive setting for adult learners. Establishment of the SCS is based on the premise that learning is a lifelong passion. This is especially true of the highly industrial and corporate Central Savannah River Area’s residents; the Greenville, South Carolina region; the United States; and the world. The Center for Advanced Professional Studies will be used to increase student’s enrollment and diversify program offerings at Paine College.
